I agree with Hiker that the jar throwing might be the most salient detail, though Barua's heading out, vaguely northeast, on a bike, no map, no nothing--that's pretty compelling too.<br /><br />I pack the kitchen sink and plenty of maps into the car. It's one reason I hate flying. My gesture at roughing it is to hold off on GPS (so far).
