A day in the life of dogs

Some days are true dog-days. Here is Gus' diary for today.

We went to the dog park and met a new happy happy dog.

Then we went out in front to pick up pine-cones. Life is so good!

But then the darn sprinklers went off... we got wet.
Good thing our fur is so thick and dense. It was merely annoying, nothing else.

But retreating behind the little wall offered all the peace I needed. It was fun to be here!

And then our cousin, Vinnie, showed up. He is staying with us for 4 days.
He sure knows how to make himself at home!

Toby acts like Vinnie is the best friend he ever had! Kisses galore! DON'T LOOK!

After greeting Vinnie, Toby contentedly takes a rest in the WMCC
(World's Most Comfortable Chair).

And Sophie thinks she is a princess with her new chew toy. It used to be Vinnie's toy...

Well, that is it for today... Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
