For Laura's birthday

Today is Laura's birthday - she is a blogging friend and a mentor. I wanted to do something besides just post Happy Birthday on her comment page, but I was at a loss.

Until I went out to plant my winter tomatoes - just two plants this year. We always plant our tomatoes in the spring, so I am unsure about this winter crop... but I was guided to plant cherry tomatoes in containers, and to offer them full sun.

So here are Laura's tomatoes...

As they blossom and produce fruit, we will continue to celebrate Laura! And maybe we will have fresh cherry tomatoes by Thanksgiving or Christmas!

Feliz cumpleaƱos, Profesora Laura! I hope you don't this 'gift' is too weird!

If the plants produce delicious tomatoes, I will send you some! But, if they fail... I should never mention them again?
