Amazing! That almost looks like my side of town except here the blue lupine are done blooming.
Re your question: I just have a point and shoot so I can't add any filters or lenses. I used -2/3 exposure compensation while taking the pictures and then corrected the contrast in photoshop.
Love your photos, Brenda. I'm so glad I found you. We currently live in Missouri (transplants from California) but miss the warmth! Planning to move to Arizona as soon as we sell the house. So - you can see why I'm loving your blog. Thanks so much.
I think I really do see a difference. I've heard people say the variety in ARizona is a reason to choose it over other warm places--e.g., Tucson and Phoenix are very different, I hear--and certainly Flagstaff and the north.

Woof! Woof! It's beautiful ... Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
five miles and a 1000 feet lower in altitude the world is in bloom, not here, yet though... I'm waiting.
Hi Brenda, It is the same here in CO - 5 miles makes a huge difference in ecosystems. Now just keep everything in bloom until I get there next Tues!
You bring a delicacy, a light touch, to our view of desert scenes.
Lovely, I so enjoy your photos, so different than the landscape here in Maine. By the way it is snowing!
Spring is everywhere..
Great photographs Brenda.
Have a nice weekend.
