Why us?

Why us?
What did we do this time???

Sorry, guys, the lawn needs mowing. This will just take a moment.

Poor lil jail birds... Sophie and toby look like they want to show you how it's done!

WAIT! You have a lawn????

Poor sweet babies, they do look like jail birds. I'm sure they were very forgiving once the mowing was done.

Looks like you've got your hands full with that group!

Oh but that grass will be so fun to play on after it's mowed!

Clever photo! Of course, no one can turn on the sad sack face like pooches.

I thought there wasn't any grass in Arizona.

"the lawn needs mowing . . . "

Every once in awhile I'm reminded of a language situation. In SE Ohio, WV, and the Pittsburgh area, we said, "The lawn needs mowed. The car needs washed." Actually, "The car needs worshed."

You think I took any crap for that when I got to college? You think? You think? Miss Correct Usage! You know, anybody can speak correctly. It takes character to sound stupid.

Love their ears! Each one a distinct personality. The spot of Gus is cute.

Thank you for visiting PVDP today - always nice to see your name in the comments...I'll have to apologize for not coming by very often, but when I do, I catch up on your terrific posts. We are in a middle of IAW strike here and I was telling my friends at work about your dad's skills as a negotiator.

RE pansies...you won't believe this but I took the photo in ONLY B&W which I hardly ever do! Maybe the colors were not so striking (which is very hard to believe).
