The nudge

The nudge of wet dog nose on my arm tells me it is time to go outside and look skyward.
The day is just beginning.
(and as Mr. Tillett reminds us, enbiggen the photo for best viewing. I love Mr. Tillett's sage advice!)

Wait! What?!? A nudge? You only get a nudge? Maybe Stumpy needs to spend a few days down south for some training...

I've got morning glare on my screen, so I can't make out exactlywhat that thing is. I'll have to check back, this afternoon!

"enbiggen," I love that word!

Did you happen to get this tip from the professor (astronomy?) on Nova? I happened to be watching once, and he said something like, "When in doubt, look up." It's gotten me a few birds and purty sights I might have missed, like yours. A bridge beam?

Golden Gate?

Ha ha ha, it's the same for me, sometimes I won't go out until my dog demands it!

Oh, you all write such fun comments to read!
PA and Banjo are right - Golden Gate Bridge. I didn't know anyone would try to guess! I have a photo of a bird I can't identify - I think I will post it and see the responses!

Cyndi, Stumpy is welcome anytime for training. However, he is not allowed to 'train' back. Haha!

Banjo, did not see the NOVA show. Now I am curious.
Thank you all!
