Dry heat

Arizona in June.

Mornings are cool.
Afternoons are hot.
But it is a dry heat.
In June.

Yeah dry heat. Everybody thinks it's wonderful. Even me. I really complain when that dot of humidity comes to visit each August. This is nothing to that. :(

I agree - once the humidity hits 10%, I look for clouds. June is a delight compared to what's to come, isn't it?

Looking forward to experiencing some of that dry heat soon. My trip keeps getting delayed so I hope it doesn't get pushed into monsoon season!

is 80 cool? because our wake up temp was 80 today and that means LOOK OUT in the PM. the humidity is so thick we feel like we are drowning. i was out by the pool yesterday and the temp on the fence in the shade was 100 i put the thermometer on my lap where i was sitting and it shot to 107 immediately so i took it in the pool with me and it dropped to a cool water temp of 86, which felt cool compared to 107 and i can relate to your post

For once maybe Michigan is the envy of all you SWers. Highs in the 70s and a fantastic breeze for at least four days.

This is my first June in AZ and I'm feeling the heat! And if the strength of the sun wasn't so bad, the hot wind that accompanies it is enough to drive me to the ac comfort of the house, or car, so mall, or restaurant, or..... I love it here in spite of the heat.

It may be a dry heat, but it's still hot as heck! We'll be doing another road trip in your great state, but we're waiting until October...
