Winter wears white

Winter hit us with snow.

A lovely site that transforms the desert and transfixes its residents.

Beautiful! There's just no way a photo cannot be taken and turn out great out there. I hate to see the snow gone though I suppose it is after yesterday's high temps. :(

Your photos are beautiful. Worthy of some publication like Arizona Highways! Wish I could have seen the snow on the mountaintops.

The snow really adds to the mountain sculpture. What a fine backdrop to the saguaros. Beautiful images!

How nice to see you out and about, bloggily speaking, especially when you bring us jaw-droppingly magnificent scenes such as these.

That top shot is tops. And Number 4 is special too.

How often do your mountains show snow? Every year?

It makes us look at well known mountains in such a different way!

Wow, thank you all for the kind comments on the photography.

Banjo, I think these mountains (the Superstitions) get snow like this every 10 years or so. Kathy or Roe might be able to correct me. I look forward to their remembrance/
knowledge!

Best name ever for a mountain range, by the way.
