A good hike is hard to ruin...

especially when your hiking companion is Shado.

I bet you hear no whining or complaints. Spectacular desert trail.

I bet she's a great companion!
That looks to be a nice trail also.

do you have issues with mountain bikers?

PA, no problem with mountain bikers. We are passed by them fairly often (early morning and evening hikes, mostly). We stand to the side and they zoom by us. They always say 'hey' or 'thanks'.
Are you a mtn biker?

What are your temps these days? We're going to push 100 today, which wasn't something I signed up for.

Banjo, I didn't know Detroit had cleaned up so much!

AH, a tad cooler here today with HIGH winds. Been 100 already, will be again in a day or two. These are probably the same winds fueling the fires pushing Malibu, etc. Winds so strong that it has sucked the moisture right out of the air, so everything you touch electrocutes you. And then there is my hair...... two feet of standing straight up on my head, floating in static.

I want a picture of your hair.

It's starting to get warm! But I did hear that this is the coolest spring we've had since 1975. Trying to do a little catching up.
