Elegance upon awakening

The elegant act of awakening...
the dance...
the arrangement...
the ballet of awakening
as performed early in the morning
by wild lovebirds in our backyard.

Just beautiful, Brenda, the wing stretching, every movement is just lovely to see.

Brenda - What a magical show in your yard - a good way to great each day!

The parrots in my tree are really, really loud, and I always appreciated them more in someone else's trees. And yet, these characters will look you straight in the eye and I can't help but like them.

Will these folks stick around all year? They sure look dramatic.

And Brenda, thanks a million for your help at my place. I'm pretty sure Richard at the Water has my guy--and some fine other photos!

Very pretty! They are so different from our normal grey/brown birds.

All these photos are great, but the first one, with all those individual wing feathers, is amazing!
