A different view of the desert

An update on the Salt River Wild Horses: Last week, I shared photos of a pregnant mare. She had her foal - and both appear to be well.
My wish is that you will be with a smile today as you look around at our simple yet complex world.

The depth of a desert

We often don't think to look past the obvious.
The desert is the perfect place to keep looking.

From the cactus right in front of you to the
palo verde behind it...

on to more cactus, creosote trees,
sagebrush, shrubs...

... and finally the big hill you really thought you were seeing.
