Walking with the sun

Walkers with the Dawn

Being walkers with the dawn and morning,
Walkers with the sun and morning,
We are not afraid of night,
Nor days of gloom,
Nor darkness--
Being walkers with the sun and morning.

Langston Hughes

Early morning in the desert.
All three photos are taken along the Salt River.

The snow on the mountains looks gorgeous and all of your photos are breathtaking. I love the Hughes poem, had never seen it before. Great post!

I didn't know this Hughes poem. I don't think of him as a nature guy. Thank you! And as always, great photos.

Nice job!
Looks like a beautiful area.
My only time in Arizona was in the NW corner of the state.
