The count of wild lovebirds at
our feeders is EIGHT.
Four females, four males; pairs for life.
Nick & Nora, Liz & Dick,
Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice
Our mornings are filled with their beauty
and their crazy chatter.
Love (birds) is (are) in the air!

How wonderful to observe them at your home - they look charming.
They look so adorable, I can imagine how much fun they are to watch and listen too! :)
Are they nesting? Or do they prefer a "just the two of us" romantic life?
You are very lucky to have these beautiful pairs in your trees and feeders.
Cheers and hugs,
Jo
I guess they're more interesting than sparrows? But kinda dumb? kinda bird-brained?--haven't developed no-fault divorce yet. THAT's why they're so noisy--they're screaming at each other. Something about leaving the lid up . . .
Good nesting of Birds. looking very nice in nest. sparrow looking very good
You are so lucky to have such colorful and wonderful birds right outside your window! Great photos! Can you tell who is who? Which one is Nick? :) Actually, you probably can, knowing you!
You lucky devil!!!!! Oh I am so jealous! Great shots Mizz Brenda!
I think that is so cool! I know they would be considered an invasive species, but how neat!

The blue lovebirds are my favorite
How beautiful, they are such sweet little birds. They make me long for life back in Zambia where we had masses of Lillians Lovebirds.
That is so cool to have them around. They are so pretty! Thanks for the great photos!
